2012 REEDY PRE-RACE CLINIC

What: Reedy Race R/C Clinic taught by Kurt “Coach” Wenger

When: 8:45 - 9:45pm (After open practice) Wednesday, January 25th

Cost: $20 with a portion of the proceeds going to the National Parkinson Foundation in memory of Mike Reedy

Reedy Race entrants, start your 2012 Reedy Race experience off right on Wednesday night with an R/C Clinic taught by world famous R/C coach to the pros, Kurt “Coach” Wenger.  Coach has traveled the world racing R/C cars and has worked with World and National Champions such as:  Ryan Maifield, Ryan Cavalieri, Neil Cragg, Jared Tebo, Brian Kinwald, Travis Amezcua and Richard Saxton.

In this 1 hour event, Coach will cover everything you need to know to have a successful 2012 Reedy Race.  Whether this is your first “big race” or whether you made the A-main last year, everyone can learn something new.  The clinic is open to all drivers and skill levels.

- What is an apex and why does it matter?
- Why do the pros make going fast look so easy?
- Special track walk and lesson on driving the Reedy Race layout
- Car Prep and Setup
- Car prep and maintenance
- How to avoid common “big race” mistakes
- Registration for this event includes a handout and track map for taking notes during the clinic.  There will only be  40 spots available for this unique event, so register early.

Racers that register by Monday, January 23rd will be entered into a drawing for one of two Reedy Sonic  7.5 turn motors courtesy of Reedy/Team Associated. 

Pre-register by sending your $20 payment and name via PayPal to kurt@avidrc.com.  

You may still pre-register using PayPal through Tuesday, January 24th, but you will not be entered in the drawing for the free Reedy motors.  You may also register on-site at West Coast R/C Raceway on the day of the event (cash only).
