The Nitro Pit's 5th Annual AZ. Championship Series, Peck and Wheeler Podium.

The 5th Annual Arizona Championship Series Final was run this weekend. Avid was proud to have sponsored this event and to see some of our Team Drivers on the podium. Billy Fischer took the win both pro buggy and truggy with Casey Peck (Avid) and Chris Wheeler (Avid) taking 2nd and 3rd in both classes.

Casey Peck took the win Dash For Cash (Watch Video Here) which was a 6 minute race of the A-main qualifiers in Pro Truggy. It started out looking like what the mains were to look in both classes. You had Fischer pulling a way from Casey bit by bit, and Wheeler just behind Casey. On about lap 5 though Wheeler didn't make the big kicker jump in front of the drivers stand which took him out of the hunt. A few laps in Fischer makes a small enough bobble to let Casey close in. Sure enough, that jump on the straight got the best of Fischer as well allowing Peck to take the lead and finish it out for $20!
