Introducing bodies by FTW

Avid RC is proud to announce that it will be the premiere online source for a new RC company called FTW (For The Win).  The body designs are very forward thinking and mainly designed for the 1:10 scale market.  However they are not planning on stopping there.  Their current line is available for purchase now at http://www.avidrc.com/product/18/bodies-by-ftw/.

FTW Racing Components today announced its official company debut. Created to equip radio control car enthusiasts and serious racers with components exhibiting form and function that defies convention, FTW RC will produce bodies, wings, and associated parts for 1:10 and 1:8 scale radio control cars. Along with the company debut, FTW RC announced its initial lineup of 1:10 scale off-road buggy bodies, including fitments for the popular Team Associated B4.1, Schumacher Cougar SV, and Kyosho Ultima RB5 platforms.

"We are excited to launch a company that focuses our team's over four decades of successful R&D and manufacturing experience in the plastics and composites industries on developing revolutionary products for our fellow racers," said FTW RC co-founder John Riewe. FTW RC will continue to expand beyond the initial product offering to include fitments for most 1:10 and 1:8 scale platforms. According to co-founder Joshua Riewe, "Prototype FTW bodies for several popular 1:8 scale buggy platforms are currently undergoing testing at national level races. The lessons we learn from in-race testing will be incorporated into the final products that will soon be available to the public.
