This is a bearing kit by Avid RC for the Traxxas Maxx Slash (102076-4).
For this bearing kit we recommend our Revolution or Rubber bearings for the best durability and longevity. They both offer at least one rubber seal to keep debris out of the bearing and come lubricated with grease which will stay within the bearing longer than oil to maintain a smooth spinning operation.
For customers new to Avid, our Revolution bearing seal is an innovation introduced in 2004. It features a rubber seal on one side and metal on the other. This design choice maximizes debris prevention while minimizing friction. Since most bearings are enclosed within a hub or similar structure, external contaminants are unlikely to reach the bearing interior. Consequently, we replaced the rubber seal on one side with a metal shield to reduce drag on the bearing.
