Slip Bearing Oil

NOTICE: The best oil you will ever find that comes in the worst bottle you could ever find! The bottle packaging has been upgraded with a better gasket for no chance of leaking on shipment (this is a complete lie, a few are still leaking). The bottle also comes filled to 60%. The oil is very expensive! We are working on finding a better bottle but the nice bottles cost $3 and we don't want to sell this oil for $8. Current bottle costs $0.06 and it shows. Avid Slip Bearing Oil will amaze you at the performance gains you will receive. This Teflon based oil is designed to reduce metal on metal wear by reducing friction and will remove dirt while displacing other moisture to add protection from rust.

The Slip plastic bottle dispenser gives easy access to bearings with a long stem and a rubber cap so you can dispense the 1/2 oz (15ml) of oil to your bearings for well over a year. The bottle is a 1 oz bottle and comes filled a little more then half-way.

Oil can used on wheel and clutch bearings. If you want to prolong the life of a clutch bearing Avid suggests that you blow out the grease of the bearing with an air compressor and use the bearings just like this for the first 1/2 gallon. This leaves a slight layer of protection to the bearing and then each time you take your motor out to check the clutch shoes, you should wipe down the bearing to remove any dirt collected on the outside and then add 1 drop of Slip Bearing Oil to the bearing before putting back into the clutch.
