The Avid AE 3x27.5 shock shafts are chrome-plated to ensure the smoothest surface possible. They utilize Associated's V2 screw mount design to keep the piston in place.

Tips

• We recommend that when replacing shafts you always replace them with the Avid X-rings, Avid Machined Shock Spacers, and Avid Slop Oring Grease.
