Wing Drilling Jig | HB Wing

Avid's Wing Drilling Jig is designed for the ever-popular HB Racing wing so that you can easily drill the vent holes in the back of the wing below the gurney. It is so easy to ruin a wing when doing this so Avid's Travis Fischer came up with this beautiful little tool to ensure you get the pilot holes in the right spot. The holes are designed to be perfectly spaced across the wing and you may choose if you want 3 holes per section or 2.

Details

• Perfectly space your pilot holes with either 3 or 2 holes per section depending on the downforce you want.
• Includes a 2mm drill bit for the pilot hole.
• If you don't have a drill, use a piston drill bit and then a reamer.
• For making the larger hole we recommend a 1/4in (6.35mm) drill bit because they are common (this is what was used in the photo).
• 3D printed, so try to drill straight, but it is quite resilient.
